It was a pretty fun game at first, but it got stale after awhile. A short game, slightly-differing mechanics and a decent storyline (and a heartwarming companion) kept my attention.The game was okay. Though personally, I really hoped that it would have been better. Overall, I kinda enjoyed this game. Recommended to buy for a somewhat interetsing experience and adventure. 6/10.Pros:- Eccentric yet interesting art style- Storyline is pretty ok- Has hilarious clams and tiny little worms :3- The game explores a different genre from the mainstreamHit & Miss:- Soundtrack suits the theme but could be betterCons:- Extremely short, 2hr game- Gameplay gets stale after awhile. I don't want to discourage anyone from trying this unique and quirky game but it does take a steady hand and quick reflexes. If your patient dies several times in a row the game will help you, but just barely. That being said, as much as I felt like rage-quitting, especially in the last chapter, it was satisfying to finally cure the trickiest patients and I really enjoyed the game overall. Playtime about 4 hours though you can stretch that a little further if you're trying for those last few, very hard, achievements.. This is an excellant game, and I would highly recommend it. 8/10Pros-Fun puzzle solving that doesn't require too much thought-whimsical and disturbing setting-gorgous art and music-fun sidequests and decent replayabilityCons--other people have mentioned this, but the music mechanic, while not awful, can be rather frustrating if one doesn't have a ear for musicAll and all, this is a good game for people who want some nice puzzle solving that doesn't hold your hand to much, but won't make you throw your computer either. The grisly, fairytale-like setting is just an extra bonus.. This is not a puzzle-based game. All of the objectives are obvious, and most rely more on quick clicking and luck than skill. Love the concept and the quirky graphics, but it's just not a fun game.. Real good game ... really like the style and theme. Look maybe it's my computer maybe it's not , but the mouse interface seemed really unprecise and awkward and it quickly just ploughed the whole thing into unfun difficult. That's why I'm down voting it. The game itself:It's trauma centre with weirder stuff (arguable). KInda wish I got to make more decisions or analysis than just doing mouse tasks in a rigid order. Some things that.. charitably be called a puzzle.Has a bunch of stuff that's annoying if you think about it , like a recipe that you are trying to find ingredients for. However the ingredients just get doled out to you automatically as you progress. So it's just some weird decorating on a level sequence but one in which you have♥♥♥♥♥♥about dragging a bean or a nail into a blender. I mean I guess a overland map is decorated level sequence interface too and yet somehow this doesn't work.There's this other thing where you can put things in a furnace and get little scribbles in a notebook. Literally like margin doodles , no additional infomation about the world or anything.Again you have to drag bugs into a furnace , and the bugs are being automatically doled out so it's a round about way to get absolutely nothing of interest.It's this and a couple of other elements , suggest of other layer of gameplay which isn't actually there and it makes the simpiclity of what is there bug me more than it should.Overall the game visually shows a humour and imagination and if you enjoy a simple trauma centre style game and the mouse appears to working fine for you, then sure play this .. Wonderfully drawn, spooky point & click adventure.Sports some very nice tongue-in-cheek humour as well.As other reviewer have stated it is not a very long game, but makes up for it with a very nice atmosphere (both visually and with its soundtrack). It did not get dull or stretch its ideas, so it felt right to me.I had a very good time with it and can recommend it to everyone.If you would like to try something out of the ordinary, go for it!. Wie wundervoll!Funny enough I decided to play this becuase I was sick myself, hey what else am I gonna do but lay in bed and play games?Wunderdoktor is basically a collection of Wario Ware like mini games, wrapped in a creepy-cute narrative. The closest I can compare it to would be Little Inferno.It will last you 1-3 hours, depending on how good you are at mouse controlled quick time events. Difficulty is fairly easy. You got limited time to cure a patient of their various diseases. Diseases are treated by clicking, dragging or solving very basic trial & error puzzles. If you fail you simply have to restart with that patient until you succeed and move on to the next patient. Rinse and repeat.It has a rather unique presenation, you could call it morbidly charming? I dig it, it may not be to everyone's taste.. can we CHANCE TAHT DIFICULTY OF THIS GAME OK THAT SO HARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD THATTTTTTT SOOOOOOOO IMPOSIBLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Wunderdoktor is a lovely little game. Surgeon Simulator by way of paper-collage animal-people, you are tasked with curing a bunch of strange boils and parasites and ghosts from your patients before they snuff it. Its artstyle is impressive, music is quirky and fun. The narrative is good enough to keep you going, though nothing super special.My main issue with the game is its feeling of being 'on-rails'. Whereas in something like Trauma Centre you would have to pick the right treatments for the job, Wunderdoktor has you fix the patients in a specific order. This can be problematic when you really just want want one swinging parasite out of the way but nooo, you have to stitch this together first. Things like that.Still, very enjoyable overall. Would recommend.
